The Alliance for Journalists’ Freedom is seeking a journalist for a part-time role to assist in its work on the Future of Journalism.
The Future of Journalism project is a core part of AJF’s work, and will focus on the AJF’s purpose of raising public awareness of freedom of the press.
Your salary will be $85K plus super pro rata to 10-15 hours a week.
As the successful applicant you will probably:
have 3-5 years of experience in journalism
be keenly interested in the current state of journalism and what the future of journalism should look like, including matters of trust, ethics, reform, etc.
have social media skills with experience publishing and interacting with audiences on various channels
be keen on research and speaking to journalism leaders around the world.
be familiar with editing on Adobe Premier Pro.
You will definitely be:

The working environment is terrific with a great office in one of the best buildings in the CBD, with an interactive and creative culture, although with a flexible work schedule you will at times work remotely. You will be working alongside enthusiastic people with strong media skills and will learn heaps.
